![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This isn't a matter of being a broqueboi. Sure, you will be a scrub when everyone is a scrublord, but that doesn't really mean much to me when many other game genres release a full game and if they get dlc, it's supposed to extend your playtime with new content rather than adding to your start menu so you do can the thing you've been doing slightly differently (a la a new character). Half the time (really all of the time), you have to wait a couple of years to get the "full" game and you will get it at a discount. I'm looking forward to this game, but I don't think I'm going to prepurchase until I see what is developed down the pipeline and what is released. It's stuff like this that makes me hopeful for unlockable content by way of achievements and playtime rather than a wallet. Now, SF6 appears to flip this trend with a build of casual content and other games-within-the-game which I really like and was never expecting. 4 extra times to get the complete version? Not only do games cost more all around, but we are getting less of a game when we do get our hands on it. They gave you a half-baked game and charged you what. This is the reason why I never played SF5. 25 bucks for 4 more characters and content that I can either earn overtime or don't care about? It just saddens me that this is where we are. Somewhere down the milkplayersformoremoney development line the player community greenlit paying for 1 more character or paying for 4 released over time. I think the last fighting game I played that had unlockable characters was Dead or alive 4. ![]()
